🌳 ROOTING FOR SUCCESS: 8th Annual YWCC at Girls Academic Leadership Academy (GALA) 🚀
As a FoGALA Board Member and Co-Chair of this year's Young Women's Career Conference (YWCC), I’ve had the privilege of working with an incredible team dedicated to bringing together 80+ inspiring women leaders in hashtag#STEM to empower the next generation of innovators at the Girls Academic Leadership Academy on March 7, 2025!
Our theme, "Growing Roots" 🌱, celebrates GALA's new campus and focuses on building lasting foundations for these bright young minds. Students in grades 6-12 will meet with remarkable women across aerospace, technology, game design, medicine, AI, and more through interactive panels and skill-building workshops.
We are honored to welcome our keynote speaker Zoraya S. Oliver-Griffin, Chief Climate Resiliency Officer at LADWP, alongside distinguished speakers including Maria Alvarez, VP of Experimentation & Insights at Microsoft's AI Platform Group; Kim Carli, Chief of Performance & Transformation at University of Southern California's Keck Medical Center; and Deborah La Franchi, Founder & CEO of SDS Capital Group.
